About me... I have a Bachelor of Arts in English. I love to read. From an early age I cannot even remember, I knew the comforts and pleasures of the limitless powers of the written word. The pages of words that created worlds, reminded, comforted, loved and remembered.
I decided to create this blog due to my dear friend Tennesee Williams. One rainy autumn morning, leaving my house, I found a rose had bloomed. Bright yellow in the middle of so much gray, so much damp. And I remembered the words Tennesee loved enough to have engraved on his headstone. "The violets in the mountains have broken the rocks." Those words mean many things to me, and one of those speaks to the power of literature; the written works and those who create them.
I have decided to keep this space for my thoughts on the literature I read, what I may write and anything related to the world of the written world. Happy reading!
